Format Their is no prescribed size, but I recommend a A3 sized workbook. The visual workbook can be a sketchbook, a binder with loose pages whatever format you prefer to work in. But you have to buy and bring this to class yourself. Empty drawing paper we have available at school.
You do need to work on your pages in a landscape format, to maximise on screen view when pages are selected for the assessment component 'Process Portfolio'.
What to include? draw, think, analyse, reflect, design, invent, compare, experiment, record, respond, explore, observe, create
The workbook provides much of the raw materials used for the 3 different assessed components. For example the analysis and comparisons for the comparative study may come from notes you've made in the journal. Also the pages for the screens presented as the Process Portfolio come from your workbook and planning for your exhibition and writing the curatorial rationale.
